Hand-carved Rocky Mountain Goat wood carving.
The carving was done by John Wilson, an award-winning wood carver who lives in Idaho and specializes in wildlife wood carvings.
The goat is carved from Basswood and has carved walnut-wood horns and hand-painted eyes. The base is reclaimed local black walnut wood.
No stains or paint were used on this carving (other black acrylic paint for the eyes). The carving was finished with all-natural Tung oil and a small amount of Beeswax + Carnauba wax finish.
Due to the special additional precautions needed to ensure the safety of the carving during transit, an additional $20 will be added to the shipping cost.
